View Full Version : question: selecting nGons
ijinn 05-14-2003, 07:11 AM I used the search but couldnt find the answer i was looking for, so i started a new thread.. Is there a way to select nGons like in Lightwave?? i mean, its not really a problem to have ngons in max since meshsmooth works either way, but i'd like to keep my poly's clean and try to have 3-4'gons....
Thanks in advance!

There's also a great script by Grant Adam called PolySelections. It lets you define the criteria by which to select polygons, so you can select just tris, or just polys with 5 sides, etc. You can also use it to select verts that share n faces, which is great for weeding out the poles in your model.
