What's the difference between those 2, exactly? Pros and cons? I heard FAT32 was faster, is that true?

I don't think there's any difference in speed, however, NTFS allows you to take control over your files and set permissions. It's very effective you have several users logging on your comp, or if you simply want to protect your files from deleting them by accident. Windows XP, NT, and 2000, recommend running NTFS.
