I've run into a problem when rendering a movie or hell, even just an image with this animation of mine.
It renders fine and well, fast when i dont have hypernurbs turned on, but as soon as I do it will NOT render in the separate Render window.
It still renders fine and at larger resolution in the editor but i just keep getting "Not enough memory.." when trying to render it in the render window.
Anyone know a way around this?

I would try turning up the virtual memmory. That will probably fix it. :)

How much memory do you have?

lower the second HN subdivision value (render) to the same number as the first (editor subdivision).

What type of computer and OS are you using?

you might justhave the memory allotment turned down really low, this was a big problem in Mac OS 9. in fact lots of people jus think that OS 9 was buggy with out ever realizing that this was like two clicks away from being fixed.

but if you are only using 128 megs or ram, you may in the end be forced to buy more.

I have an athlon, and a P4 each with 1 gig Ram, but if I turn off virtual memory some scenes would not render above a specific resolution (very complex scenes). So turn on virtual mem, moreover assign it 2 gig diskspace manually, it will solve your problem.
