:wavey: Hello. It must seems somewhat rude to post asking for comments and crits when you have not given any yourself, but I will try and be more active on the forums in return (I want my own avatar damnit!)

anywho, this is a drawing done completely in photoshop using a pen tablet. This is my first experiment with color so you'll have to pardon the monotone as I'm working my way up to include *gasp* red in my next drawing.

Enjoy

High res can be found here (http://cled.ca/drawings/piratescene2.jpg)

Also an exciting (for the easily excited) timelapse of this image being created can be found here (http://cled.ca/piratelapse.avi) (divx required)

btw, I've started a WIP thread for my next project, come join in the fun (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=62422).

Thanks for the view!

That is an impressive work. You do have a good control over Photoshop. I like the colors and the feel of the picture. The blending from the water to the beach or the reef is very good.

:applause:

some of it has amazingly high detail (tree's, water, rock) but the grass looks bland and bleh... so if u just added a bit more detail to some areas it would look perfect.. but as is its amazing :D
