So am I crazy or is everyone using the wrong naming convention for the thread title?
I am going to create Johnny 5 from 'Short Circuit'. There are a few models of him floating around the internet and none of them really do the head any justice ( It's ridiculously detailed). I am planning on creating a very detailed and accurate bust at the very least. My idea is to have J5 in somewhat of a 'Disassembled' form ( as he would put it), strewn about a workshop table . I'd like to composite it, maybe even match move it, in a real environment if I have time.
My references include hundreds of screen grabs from the two DVDs, as well as pictures of other people's physical 'replica' models that a few robot experts have built ( I will post picslater ). There are some discrepancies between Johnny 5 in the first and second movie (small details here and there ), so I'm probably going to lean more towards Johnny 5 from SC2 as it's a little bit more refined.
