Title: Calibre 2475 - Quai de l'Ile
Name: Fabien Corrente
Country: Switzerland
Software: 3ds max, After Effects, VRay

Hello,

Just a personal test I've done with Max 2008 and Vray 1.50.Sp1.
DOF was done with vray phyical cam, no GI.

This watch's movement is from a project call "Quai de l'ile", a brand new watch concept from Vacheron Constantin.
Have a look at their website.

I've done the modeling (80%), mapping(100%) and rendering (100%)
Very few post job, color and contrast adjust done in AFX.

Hope you enjoy...

Stunning, brilliantly rendered, very interesting.

My only crit is the small silver gear meshing with the large brass gear on the left hand side of the shot looks a little tight but I'm no watch maker so maybe this is how it should be ?

Hello...

First : Thank you very much...

Second : all parts of this calibre are real size. It's a real calibre, fonctional.

Best regards...

You'll be very disapointed !!! :)

I've done 70% of the modeling in solidworks... So many parts are not very clean...

Best regards.

Cool! Very like such things, but always don't have enough time to model it.
