Sony PSP

"...Sony president and CEO Ken Kutaragi described the PSP as "the Walkman of the 21st century". A bold statement indeed.

He added: "The world of PlayStation encompasses hundreds of millions of users worldwide, most of whom view computer entertainment as part of their everyday lives. We look forward to extending the experience through a portable entertainment platform, and are excited about the possibilities and impact PSP will have on the market.

"Along with game applications, PSP will have a huge potential for delivering other forms of entertainment, as well as live entertainment through the network, anywhere, anytime."

"the Walkman of the 21st century", so maybe lets call the machine, Playman.

But, wait, it sound nice. Since it is like gameboy.

I know, let's call it Playboy.

I'm really excited about this. For those of us who are doing handheld development this is huge news! I can't wait to work on it. 1.8GB is alot of room to play with. It claims that it will support NURBS also:surprised I guess we'll have to wait and see if all these claims will be true but still exciting none the less.
