I have been working in this test for while during my spare time. I am sure there are a lot of things to improve so any comments & critics are really welcome.

Hey man!
nice to see some of your test! it looks really good!
if i could say something i think that the lipsync could be better, i think it's a bit off and you don't have enought mouth shapes for the phonems... so it doesn't read really well.
Maybe the acting of the "girl" could be more pushed, now it's too subtle .
Good job with the other guy ;)
Keep up the good work man!
Always love your stuff!

Bartolo!
I thought you were only animating oscar winning polar bears in your spare time! I couldn't have been further from the truth!
Nice work man however I think you spent more time on the guy on the left than Bishop. Ace animation to me is ace! Perfect balance

Yep!
Great work Giro, nice to watch another acting from you. I like a lot man, you have a great polish on it!
Little comments, as other people say I think you need to fix a little the lipsync of the characters.
Maybe you can try to work more the weight of the Big guy, his right arm/hand and his hip.
The left hand of the BIG guy itīs all the time moving, maybe can help to mark more some pose in his body.
Another think maybe itīs try to simplify the facial expresions of the left guy at the begining of the shot, only for donīt pay attention on him, he can only react when he speak and no more, maybe softing the facial expresions itīok!
And the last think itīs about the push up and down, itīs me or I feel that he push up more fast than down?
Thanks for read my little comments, however your acting rocks man! itīs great to watch it again and again, you have a great detaills on it. My congrats!
Isaak
pd: I think the light donīt are the best for the animation, a playblast or neutral light could be better for watch the lipsync better and facial expressions, now there are a lot of shadows on his faces, sorry for the offtopic comment :-P

Hey man! :)
You've got in here a cool animation test. Very well done. I like the contrast of choosing the big male character for the soft line, it's funny.
Overall is a nice detailed and soft piece with not much movement and nice subtle touches, which is good to see for a change. My favourite part, like other people said, is when he says "you bastard", quite funny.
But I'll like to give you some critics if you don't mind! ;)
The lip-sync is a bit delayed, been more obvious with the "...woman" part. I would try to shift it 2 frames before and see how it feels, but I think it will probably help with the whole piece.
Having said that I like the subtlety and softness there is a little bit of lack of accent in the speech of the main guy. I think the line "YOU know everything..." has got more ups and downs than the anim is showing. I will try to exaggerate the accents with more snappy head movements, and the same with the hand. You could choose words like YOU, everything, MAN, WOMAN to push the accents higher. I think if you do that the whole line will be as interested as the "bastard" bit, where you've managed to push the accents properly, and even though you will have to push that line to keep it more exaggerated than the rest.
I think the rest are details that will appear clearer to you as soon as you fix these, under my point of view, more important weaknesses in your nice animation.
What do you think!!?? ;)
Keep up the good work bartolino!!! ;)

Yo!
Great job! The animation is very subtle and it has a lot of subtle detalis, like the guy with the dumbells when he stops his exercise for a while to respond, and his face at the end like saying 'oh yeah, whatever...' The other character is also great, in his drama-queen attitude. It looks like a difficult character to animate but the poses are very good.
And now some crits hehe. This is only me being picky (and a bit jealous:twisted:). Even though the acting is great, I tend to look always to the guy on the left. I don't know why, maybe that's because you move him too much. It feels a bit distracting and it can make you miss the other guy's performance. And I agree with dogfighter, the animation is all nice and soft, but perhaps it would look better if you made it a bit snappier.
Good work man! Congratulations!!:buttrock:

Porc!
Great stuff man!
I just have to agree with some of the comments regarding Ace, I think the lipsync feels a bit of at some point.
I think you could tweak the hips a bit as well, they feel a bit linear. And, for me, you could push a little bit more the accents on the first sentence, it looks too subtile when for me the way he says the sentence is very dramatic, it sounds like "she" could even be overacting at some point.
Other than that I think it looks really nice man :)
