Hi I have my scene all set up and want to load a mocap file in onto a character. The troubl eim having when i load it is that the character moves to a new position. When I try and move the character to where I want it with mocap loaded it just reverts bak to where it wants. I was wondering if there was any way of getting the mocap to take place at the coordinates where i want it to
help would be much appreciated
thank you
kind regards

Load the mo-cap.
Save BIP file.
Re-load scene.
Load BIP file.

I don't know for sure if that will work, but I hear it's a common fix for such things.

If you're using Character Studio 4, here is what you want. Motion Panel > Biped Rollout > Move All Mode. The icon is a little circle sith an arrow branching out of it. Activate this, and a little Offset window will appear, with controls for X, Y, and Z movement, as well as Z rotation. This should be exactly what you need.

if you´re using CS 3.2, try tu makea dummy object and vinculate the center of mass of biped to the dummy.
then move the dummy...it must work:bounce:
