View Full Version : Still life: "Gedeck"
zeromancer1972 05-13-2003, 01:40 PM Hi folks!
This is my first posting to this one, so excuse me for "bothering" you with my work ;)
Just finished work on a scene I made during a quite boring workday (yes, sometimes it happens to be...). I tried to create a realistic china-like surface.
I didn't put much energy in the surrounding scene. Done with Cinema 4D 8.1 with HDRI. I also tried to downsize calculating time by using normal lighting with no radiosity. I think the atmosphere is even ok.
I thank you in advance for your comments!
Greetings and peace to all -

... these "points" belong to the surface map showing some chinese signs - don't know what they mean but the texture i caught on the internet has this below the big one ;)
btw: thanks for replying! :)

looks good but a couple of suggestions: it looks a little over lit, not enough contrast IMO. And the gold at the tip of the cups should reflect a slightly goldish color, do you understand what i mean? :)

another one from me...
think of having the background scene more complex...
what would you think could fit? i "see" a window with window pane and curtain or something like that. of course "outside" a photographic environment. any suggestions or challenges??
