here's another JGTC Skyline from Team Impul :)

The scene was inspired from a pic of the JGTC pitstops I found on the net. Everything was modelled from scratch :D

About the car, I remodelled my former Pennzoil body a bit (the 2002 Calsonic Skyline has a slightly different body) and made new racing decals for the car :)

Im not much on cars but I would say: its overexposed, try reducing the global lights, or just try and fix those burnt out whites on the car. - not too important though. I would also add a little colour to the lights you are using - it looks a little bland. Try a few more angles, and this time dont zoom in the camera - it flattens the perspective and thus the form and shape of the car - the view you have chosen doesnt show much of the car either. So lets see some more angles!

Looks good - very tidey.

Nice. Ell.

some people dont fancy cg cars too much, but a decently rendered r34 in a realistic environment gets me very excited!!!
Jap tourers and german dtc cars f***ing rule, dude you should do a Tom's Supra!!!

I think someone needs to adjust their monitor...
Theres nothing wrong with the lighting for the first one.
I dont see anything that looks burnt out...what the heck maybe its my monitor that something is wrong....:hmm:

Anyhoo...great work very excellent modeling.
By chance could we take a look at the wires?
Also what app are you useing?

Wow I like he second pic better, just the angle is cooler. You should make 3D for Gran Tourismo games.:buttrock:

wooooo, skyline
hottest car in asia for yearssss

very nice, good job on modeling and lighting
i like it

few personal opinion, turn the front tire a bit in an angle, mayb the headlights a bit bigger, giving the car a more powerful feel than those small headlight, and mayb a bit more work on the textures, putting a bit of dirts on everything, especially the ground and the walls, but again, only my opinion.

Great job...

Is that an intercooler in the front?? Also, your tires look like slicks, and not many people run 18 inch slicks

Other than that, I think it's an EXCELLENT render...I'm very impressed....What program do you use and some wires would be sweet....
ruM's OUT...

thanks for the c & c's :)

everything from modelling to rendering was done in Lightwave, the textures were made in photoshop :)

nek11man - thanks for the opinions :) I actually added a bit of dirt to the textures but maybe they aren't that visible.

The pictures of the pitstop I found on the net were not that dirty anyway :) In fact, some were very tidy and clean :)

Looks great. Only thing I can suggest is reduce the reflections on the windshield.

I also don't know why people keep saying to dirty up the textures. Racing garages are often kept extremely clean and tidy. Maybe just dirty up the concrete a bit?
