View Full Version : Rendering Clay/Putty Tutorial? Can not find the thread anymore?
anewhobby 04-19-2008, 10:57 AM Hi there...
A while ago an artist on this site posted an image of a clay alarm bell. It was a very good image.. a little while after that he posted a tutorial on how it was done.
I can not seam to find this tutorial, or the clay bell image... dose anyone have the thread link for it?
It was posted on this site.

The plasticine alarm clock is in this thread here:

Material: http://www.oneglasseye.co.nz/uploads/clay/plast.mat
Tutorial: http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=12603&highlight=clay

Hope that helps.
You could always go the easy route and scan or take a digital photo of a block of plastilina.
The question is, Roma or Prima?
I always preferred prima as I hate the smell of sulfur that seems to emanate from roma.
