Hi there.

Are there any significant changes/improvements/new stuff in the animation module of v3? Not needing the renderer, i see no reason to upgrade from 2.5 (with the exception of autorig and the new morphsetup perhaps). Has the viewport speed improved? Is the OGL more robust?

Animation in v3 has improved, but I guess it's a bit overshadowed by the crayzee amount of improvement on the rendering side. Dynamic parent in place is new as well as a lot of the editsphere customisations and improvements ++
The viewport speed is already blazingly fast, but any improvement on the speed from 2.5 would only be due to bugfixes I think. How you evaluate spending your money is of course up to you, but for $189, it's an absolutely no brainer if you ask me.

Do not forget edit sphere enhancements, it makes posing more pleasant.
