I usually don't post game trailers, but this one is special.

Just wait for the end of the trailer...

Trailer looks good, hopefully they dont rape gameplay like they did in 3 or they'll never get their competative fanbase back.

I like how at the end, the voice guy pauses JUST long enough between the phrase "Soul Caliber" and "4" that it almost sounds like he forgot which version he was voicing over...hahaha

Hmm, interesting. It looks nice, but I'm not sure how well this game will jive with me. I keep trying to like the Soul Calibur series, but for some reason I keep on going back to Tekken.

I love SC but I don't care for the star wars tie in, has nothing to do with the game.

However, if the Clone Wars series has a cameo of Voldo, that would be cool ;)

All the characters look like the have a self-illuminated fresnel effect. It doesn't look right.

I don't see Yoda and Vader being in Soul Calibur as a crossover. They're just two extra, perhaps unlockable, playable characters. I don't think there's any mention of them being part of the universe/storyline. Kinda like playing Akuma as secret character in Street Fighter II.

IIRC, Yoshimitsu from Tekken also made an appearance in one of the early, if not the first, Soul Calibur game so this is nothing new.

The only real problem I have with Yoda and Vader being in Soul Calibur IV is the console-exclusiveness of each character. It would've been nice to be able to have a Vader vs. Yoda fight or two.

eeehh...that makes absolutely no sense. I also thought they would be some kind of Extra characters u can unlock, like u could unlock the programmers in NBA Live '98 (never played newer ones).

Light Saber definitely looks cool, but SW Char Design doesn't match the style of the game in any way to be more than a joke :P

Trailer was nice, I liked the mixing of cinematic VS gameplay. Personally I liked the gameplay shots a lot better :scream:

The only real problem I have with Yoda and Vader being in Soul Calibur IV is the console-exclusiveness of each character. It would've been nice to be able to have a Vader vs. Yoda fight or two. They can't really do that initially because then people will most likely just play these two characters and ignore the others. They'll probably be available several months later as a downloadable content.

Heh, I'm the opposite. I keep trying to like the Tekken series, but other than ogling the cinematics, I can't really get into it. On the other hand, I always liked the VF, DOA, and SC series.

I can't dig the 3D fighters.I play fighters seriously at tournaments and the biggest games are always 2d.Third Strike,MVC2,and Guilty Gear in particular. Please no Vader in SF...
