View Full Version : Barbeque Grill
BigAl3D 04-17-2008, 06:44 PM I might need to make some 3D charcoal briquettes hot and ready for cooking. Since the texture is key here, I was looking for some advice to get me thinking in the right direction. This for TV. Thanks.
For that matter, what's a good technique for the "pillow" shape?

The burning log and cooling lava shaders on Maxon's Deepshade are probably a good place to start for a shader. Some nice highlights and glow from the advanced renderer would probably help too.
Check Here (http://www.maxon.net/~deepshade/shader/shaders/fire/ix_fire1.html)

Doing a "search" will give you more than you need
