Hi,

some of the new features are:

.volumetric clouds (for backgrounds)
.quads instead of tris (tris only used when necessary)
.heightmap output
.displacement maps
etc.

Hi

I am new to 3d and, to be honest, I feel a bit intimidated by some of the programs available. I had a quick look at the Cybermotion website and the program looks okay.

I am downloading the demo now but could you tell me if this program would be a good place to start for a 3d newbie?
