Is it possible to export 3D-Max files from version 5.1 to 4.3?

This is a really good script written by bobo might I add. Not sure if he has updated it but when I did use it at the time it wasn't able to bring across uv maps or any textures for that matter. Kinda tricky to set up the script. For I have one thing to say the tut is pretty confusing at first.

But hey if you have any probs I would be glad to walk yah through it.

Hi,

Just for the record, the documentation of the features is not very user-friendly. I know it and will do something about getting more step-by-step explanations...

About the textures:
The older versions had a bug that messed up materials that got fixed about two weeks ago.

In addition, if you are importing in R3.x, you should install the DLX Extensions providing MultiMap support (written by Simon Feltman and available from ScriptSpot.com). The BFF page only mentions it is supported, but it is not obvious :o)
I am using BFF to move geometry from 5 to 3 and never had texture coordinate problems.
All 100 can get over... :)

Cheers,
Bobo
