...this is when your nights are shifting endlessly and your obsessions are haunting visitors in your sleepless nights...then you got aliens in your brain...
Now ... i'm taking part and i've started with a b/w sketch .....to meet the objective.
Pls give any kind of critique you want, as it is highly appreciated and mostly welcome.
Thanx to all of you out and in there...

It got to be done...I've sketched a more shaded b/w version
04-19-2008, 11:18 AM
make it a little more darker atmosphere..
I'm still wondering about the Aliens...guess it got to be more "alienated"

As I'm still wondering about my "meet the aliens"-relations in my night-drain picture started to work on them and working them out more defined how they relate in my pic...
04-20-2008, 04:01 PM
...so i added another to work with...

Now i have coloured the background and put a relight over it , to give an impression what it should look like as an overall impression. have to polish the the volumes and darken the colours andwork more out the details.

Hey Peter Nice to see you here . There's something of "Art Nouveau" in your work and also there's a light like in the colored glass in church . Good Luck

...After some afterhours madness, here again: coloring the forefront with my aliens, kept the background in b/w so to see how it could look like
This is the way Kafka would have painted if he could! ;-)
I like the strong structures and expressive colours.
The aliens seems to glow, they are crawling for the dreams of the human to take the soul of their victim...
I´m looking forward to see more!

first sketch of how the complete arrangement should look like.I blended out the background in b/w as it has to be painted out well

You have a style that reminds me of print-making. Looking forward to more good stuff!

Hi Peter! Finaly found your entry :)
Very fascinating style you have! Love the colours - it looks like some dream. It's very expressionistic and almost on the "verge" of becoming abstract, but I like it a lot :)
Keep up the great work,

thanks for your kind words. As VEM posted once before "if Kafka could have paint..."meets maybe with that what you are thinking about it. I've always tried to make it as a dreamful, imaginative situation. And the person here gets haunted by his own personal Aliens he's carrying his brain, in his imagination, when he's in his own virtual reality, his "utter world" ...
Hey Peter, really nice concept and I like a lot your palette on this image, really cool! Great feeling on the whole image!! And looking forward for more updates! Cheers mate!

hi folks in here....
good to see how your things are getting along very well in the ongoing contest.
foremyself I guess im out of challenge now ...since i'm in a pitch for a comissioned job in developing a federal corporate logotype which has a tight deadline.
I'll walk on by as often to see how things are getting better and better

When Greor S. woke up, he found himself in his bed in another room ... his "utter world".He thought by hmself: ...this is when your dreams are shifting endlessly and your obsessions are haunting visitors in your sleepless nights...then you got uplifted by aliens in your brain...
