INteresting character, the only thing bugging me is it seems like the shield wouldn't stay on his wing... also, why does he have a spear if he has no hands? Just small things really. Great piece

yes i completely agree, it bugged me during the whole time, so i gave it hands but it was horrible :scream: so i took them off
and a very good remark about the shield, i now see that it looks like its falling off :hmm:

this is my 3rd project in 3d so i guess im allowed some faults (which i might correct)

Nice try , trying to cover shit modeling , with gold plating....u cant hide the fact that thats a horrible model.....

I bet that "constuctive" comment really helped the guy here. Sheesh. Ppl like you scare ppl off from wanting to come back to a nice place as this one. Who stepped on your toes so u feel u gotta step on someone else. Does it make you feel better do put down others? I'm not saying crits are bad but at least make it constructive and tell WHAT sucks. Not just that it does.

It looks like a bird man gold statue. I do agree though that you should just drop that shield because it don't look like it fits in with the piece. Otherwise I think its a nice job. Keep going

geez someone needs to be yelled at by a mod.

anyway nice work but the feathers you had on it before looked better.

ignore that jerk. he probibly could not model box if he died trying.

I mean the really good modelers thirdeye, stalhberg etc.. I have never heard them make a comment like that.

yeah...i went back to see th wip thread...and i definitely like it better with the original textures...they were great...also agree about the shield and spear and possibly a more dominating pose...but sweet job :thumbsup:
