Hi,

Sorry if this question has been answered previously-- the site's search feature is currently non-functional.

What's the deal with the Ramp Shader? When I choose Light Angle as the Color Input, the specular highlights do not appear in the center of the brightest shaded area. Huh?

Any ideas? Is this supposed to happen?

This is supposed to happen.
The ramp is centered around the normal that points to the light.
The specular is centerd around the point where the reflection occurs, and they are not the same.

Hmm... OK, thanks.

Is that the way it works in real life? Because that's pretty counter-intuitive.
