I'm going to build a kitchen ,and it has a set of drain pipes from somewhere to the sink. frist I build a curve from straight line at start point ,and I put 3 CVs when it come to the rounding corner to make sure as cleanly as it possible. then I extrude the profile of circle along that curve lead to an unexpected result at the corner as you can see the pics1 .

Again,I use 1 cubic of curve degree from the CV Curve tool to made a pure straight line, but finally maya can not correctly produce itself at rounding corner that I wanna it be.shown as pic2

So ,I really like your help to sovle this problem, yes I need!

Thank you for your time.wavey:

You might try something like this for your corners....
Nothing but duplicated curves,Lofted....
Then loft you main pipes...

you could try a curve fillet on the corners of your extrude curve

why not just use a third degree curve, then you can get smooth curves and you can still make fairly straight lines (just add more points where you need to)?

here it is. Just create some lines that will be a reference, then I transform each of these circle throught out the pipe to most like a ellipse except begin and end. keeping them separately to exactly following the reference line frist I created. finally when I done these ,I use Loft tool.:lightbulb ,it would be resulting a sharp corner insteal of a rounding.

If there is a best way to fix that than I was, I appreciated to your tips.

Well like I said earlier...
You could actually make yourself what is called elbows like I posted above...,then just loft your mains like you have them there in your picture....
Actually kitchen pipes are seperate connections...rarely are they ever one pipe or peice.
So perhaps modeling them after the real thing would be in order but I do not know how these are going to be seen so detail may not work.
