"Producer Joel Silver and Visual Effects Supervisor John Gaeta are two of the people most responsible for the on-screen brilliance of the MATRIX films"
Right! , And the rest of the folks at ESC are shooting pool and browsing porn all day! Gaeda did it all by himself with a pc and a copy of maya.
:annoyed:
if I ever see this guy i am going to give him the pie in the face treatment like the guy did to bill gates.
:banghead:

I have to agree with Bulldog. Joel Silver didn't have a damn thing to do with the FX in the Matrix Reloaded. The crew at ESC also did more work than Gaeta on making the stuff look great. It's like Dennis Muren and Lucas/McCallum taking the credit for all of ILM's great work, and the guys in the trenches getting no credit. It's ridiculous.
Gaeta is the biggest buttwipe in the FX industry anyway. This is the guy who talked smack about Dennis Muren a couple year ago. I hate to tell you Gaeta, you couldn't tote Muren's jock.

haha - i bet Dennis Muren would piss himself laughing if he realized that people on forums are talking about other sups hanging off of his 'jock'.

I'm SOOO glad I'm not the only one who can see through the "Gaeta Factor." While I'm still impressed with what was done on "The Matrix" I'm deeply angry at Gaeta's complete lack of public respect for those that made it possible for him to get that gold statue and the attention he's gotten over the years. All I have to say is when you step on people on your way to the top, don't expect anyone to catch you on the way down.
