Hi everybody!!
i am discovering Zbrush since one week, here is my first finished work with it.
A personnal character who take's me about two days of work from scratch ... that soft is amazing!

Entirely modelled from Zspheres in Zbrush, i did the texturing in photoshop and Zbrush.
Rendered in max 2008 with mentalray and the postwork has been done with Fusion.

See the Hires for more details, or

Nice character model and I love the highlights and the lighting. For some reason he comes off like a toy or sculpture rather than a living being however.

Hey thanks for these good words :D
hehe i agree for the sculpture look.. indeed i was thinking in that more than a real monster..so i did the lighting and mapping that way, maybe with more texture details it could have been more realistic :)
once again thanks you all !

Jesus! After one week of ZBrush?! Learning ZBrush took me quite a couple of weeks. (And every day I learn something new)

I love the concept and the execution. Very well done.

Great design, love the detail ,the lower back kind of reminds me of something, hmm.

Care to share any tips with pulling good displacements from Z to MR? i find MR doesn't play nice when it comes to displacements.

Nice :)
Dave.
