Hi Guys.

I need to animate a texture on a matchmoved object from Maya in compositing. Is there like a UV shader where UV information is piped to RGB color values (similar to a normal map) so that the texture can be animated in comp (I'm planning of using the channel boolean node in Fusion and animated the textures there).

How can I setup something like this in the hypershade? Is it possible?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

sure, this is wonderfull question ... and am confient that i'll give u a good answer ;)

u need to use oen of the following as compositing softwares :

after effects (i test the uv map on it)
combustion
eyeon fusion

then u need a plug called RE:MAP (http://www.revisionfx.com/products/remap/)

flow the steps in maya : http://www.revisionfx.com/support/faqs/generalfaqs/remap_uv_images/

now u can replace any 3d object texture in the compositing level.
