... uhhh ...it's me again (i guess people will read this post before the other one... oh well)

i like this image better then the night time shot. i still think the room could use point lights with intensity falloff instead of ambient. it's difficult to learn to use point lights instead of ambient but you get so much more control over how the room looks in the end. for example, in the corner of the room it would probably be a little darker eventhough it's daylight out. add a bump to the wall texture if the wall has some texture to it.

anyway, keep up the good work.

korthik...

I'm sorry, but I find it hard to believe that someone who can create such obviosuly junior work as these room images you've posted (which isn't a bad thing, everyone has to start somewhere) can also create such obviously high-quality art work with brilliant lighting, modeling and textures as you've displayed in the 'powerbook' post...

Will the real korthik please stand up?

:annoyed:

every object in the room is default, it's a texturing assignment....the powerbook, however, I have no idea

mommy, why does the world's sea level drop 50 ft as you move from the second to first window?

add some bump to the bed and the curtains and then change the wall texture. last time i checked, someone who styled a room with flowery curtains and quilts didnt have brick walls :D

A FOR EFFORT! :P
