Nice details! I keep thinking about getting one of those little things, they seem useful.
Only thing I can pick out really is the top row of pinholes on the VGA ports seems shifted up from the rest, and the pins in the serial ports aren't centered. The smaller screws also look like they might be part of the chassis instead of on it, but I'm sure that'll come out in surfacing.
That's really all I can think of..great job. Look forward to seeing how you do the translucent panels in front.
Did you make the interior fully as well? Would be nice to see.
thanks hipercube, well i recognise that...jejej so i've already changed it up. its because i didnt took the reference and it was taken from a too elevate angle and all was a bit displaced as more deep was.
No...:shame: i haven't modelled inside Too much things inside.
it's only a work and i won't do anything i wasn't told to do. They wanted a very low detailed thing but i cannot do that and it will be useful for making a nice render.
Lots of thanks for the crit! it helped me a lot:

Nice work, very detailed....
The only thing I could find is the thickness of the 9 pin connectors, second row from the bottom on the left....
Should'nt they be a little bit thicker?
Mabye it's only a prospectic problem....
Ciao

Nice, I love how detailed the back looks. Are you gonig to put textures on it like writing or a big symbol on the side. That would make it look pretty awesome. It would also look nice if you hooked up thing to it like the power cord or a keyboard or something.
Nice job:thumbsup:

Looking good, but I think the COM port (female serial thing) could do with slightly bigger holes, they should be the sameish size as the Serial ports pinns. Just IMHO.
thanks to all!!! tomorrow another updateee :D
tomorrow never camed...:annoyed: sorry
well hi to everyone again, here the textured version, i hope you like it and if not critic please it's the only way to make me change it!!

Well, after lookign at yours and the real thing, the only crit I can come up with is that the fit and finish is a bit more exact on your model than the real thing.

you'll notice some gaps between the color coded port sticker, and the ports themselves.
Nice render with some really good textures and lighting there.

Only a small crit, but where the S-video connection is on teh righthand-side (between the dvi and svga) its drawn as a PS2 connection, ps2 has 6 pins, but S-video on has 2 pins...1 pin for each color and one for brightness
how long did that take to model? heh thats near perfect :)
thanks for the critS!!!
raz-0: if a model is imperfect, it means no models will be the same, and no everyone will have the same grade of imperfection. I tried to "instance" it with one of these at 1 meter of me. But i will look more detailedly for these things i want to make it 100% real!
roosterjm2002: mhhh  as i've said i had it at one in front of me...i think that the render is bad quality and maybe some holes aren't seen because of the black connector, but i'll look again to see, thanks!
WU`: thanks!!! mmmhhh it lasted..4 h aprox for the front (it's more difficult than it seems) and 8h for the back aprox. Then texturing from this point was easy ...it's a test...and i've not lightened it yet only with 3 or 4 lights put very randomly. The mats weren't tested again and again...i made them...and i rendered and this is the result for the first try. Now i have to perfeccionate something that doesn't fit into my little brain. Making the textures of the front/back...making the materials...and so...lasted 4 hours aprox (as you can see i'm not fast with photoshop at all)
I wanted to put HDRI but i think that as it's so reflective it wouldn't be noticed at the surface, only at the shadow on the table so i put an area shadow and 2 o 3 to fit. no more. Lightning quite sucks in this scene...but with the reflection it isn't noticed (remember light doesn't make anything (at least i don't notice it) on a 100% reflective mat...and on a 80-90% reflective it isn't noticed at all)
thankssss waiting 4 more crits...maybe i last some time to post another one i'm collapsedd
bye!
