I stayed up rather late a few nights ago just going through some ideas. I came up with a theme and did a few quick 3D compositions based on it, exploring surrealistic, science fiction and fantasy imagery, atmosphere and mood, all in a somewhat minimalistic, sketchy way. The following gallery posts titled "Welkin" are what came out of it.

This is the second quick comp based on the "Welkin" theme.

I love your pictures, and the way you mixed the different concepts of SF, surrealism, etc. ! :drool: :cool:

I thought the first was a doorknob until I realized what it was. But I love the feel of it all. Very minimal elements, but great overall impact.
