Title: With view on the river...
Name: Sébastien GAUDARD
Country: Canada
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop, VRay

Hi all,
Having no or nearly no limitation is common to personal projects. Limitation are for professional projects. So It's always a pleasure to start one like that thinking time is the only limit.
For this project I decided to follow the main idea of an interesting photo I found on a architecture mag.
So, I focused on the lighting and the texturing. As you can see, the modeling is really basic.
C&C are welcome

Flawless!!
My only crit is that the beam in the middle of the window, lines up perfectly with the railing behind it, making it hard to differeniate between the two. Lower or raise the camera to break it.

I particular like the texture of the light shades and the bowl. As well as how you beautifully blended the background scene in with the 3d parts. Awesome work! Keep it up!

Do you have any wire or clay renders?

Absolutely right. I could have lowered the cam in order to avoid matching between these parts.
Thanks for your comments

Hey toon shading!! Looks cool. Thanks for that...

The first pic makes me wish this house was real so I could buy it. So calming :)

Great ones! My only crit is the boring symmetrical composition of the first one.
