Thank you. But, before the stigma gets too heavy, I would like to point out that this is not an Ent (though the reference to those great creatures is pleasant), I must reiterate, for those who don't know, that this creature is a troll. I know, I know, it doesn't look like a troll, but trust me... it's a troll. (and not the Lord of the Rings type of troll, my very own evil, flesh consuming, demonic, frightful, "I'm-gonna-get-you" troll). ;)

Hey cool, I remember this guy from way way back in the Challenge..he's looking fantastic..really rocking textures..hate to think of what those UVs look like :D
The background is cool but I think it could use more..or less..he looks really great all by himself, I almost prefer the more sombre colors of the standalone render.
Maybe more of that in the background tones? Something in an older forest might be nice as well, very tall trees or such. Or if he's lamenting the destruction of the forest (ie that's smoke) then really make it a complete wreck. Just more stuff either way.

Yeah, Great!! you just got me thinking about the "smoke" idea. I never thought of the sky as smoky, but now that you mention it, it fits perfectly into my story, and I'm going to exploit it.
I agree with the sombre, less saturated tones. I'm be making some changes.
Yeah! more stuff.
