elfufu 05-12-2003, 06:46 AM heres a model i did for the intro to maya class at Gnomon LA, ive been using nurbs for 4 weeks now, and being tought by a great instructor called Tao Tong who kicks major butt.
it is not done and still needs alot more details, texture maps are obviously not done, as you can see by the wheels.http://www.warproductions.com/maya/tbucket.jpg

Cool T, looks good so far.
Is is suppose to have that speed cartoon look, like those dudes in the cars with the big wheels and the eight ball shifters?
Kind of has that feel. Great job so far. :)

Sorry, I D/L'ed it at work and it would not play..........So I d/l 'ed it at home now....Cool, I likes it alot.:) :airguitar
One little thing though, the shadow on the rear bucket seem to look like jagged low poly, maybe just my imagination.
If it is(my imagination)do not worry about it all.:p

that car design is so sexy...they should keep making cars like that.
Excellent modelling...I just feel the paint could look better if it didnt have the blue shining on it so much.
Wish I could do stuff like that :D

Hey! Someone else has taste! I am also working on a T-bucket! Tho, I don't have much time to work on it, and I'm doing a more "real life" style.
Looks good from what I can see. But I'm not totaly sure what style you are after. If you are after the "real life" style, then you have some work to do, the engine isn't nearly as detailed as it could be, and the rag top isn't correct. (from what all I can see anyway)
Oh, and what ever style you are going for, I'd lower the headlights to about midway up the radiator, for a slightly "meaner" look :buttrock:
Enlighten us on your style intention?
