this is my new post after many days. here i was basically trying to explore my way of painting , which i am thinking for last few days and i have satisfied my self to a certain extent. sure, there are many areas that i need to develop but thanks god i have a clear path to move on. as per subject i had nothing in mind i was more concern about color applicatin and lighting the scene in my style. all kinds of comments are welcome

I like the lighting a lot, and the scales on the snake. The wound is also very good.

Some pieces of the picture seem to be made very hastily, like the scythe hanging from his hips and the weapons sticking up over his shoulder.

As for composition, it may have been more interesting if we could see the dead snake's head.

Excellent! I agree with Synesthesiac about the serpent's head though, else it's very very good. The guy reminds me of someone I know... It's scary!

thanx a lot for ur comments.
i agree, i finished some part of it very fast, but i was looking at some exploration, i didnt pay more attention on making it look finish or nice. still i will keep it in mind and will try to give even treatment over all, in my next piece.
