Title: Japanese motif
Name: Yanina Kucheeva
Country: United Kingdom
Software: Photoshop

Hello.
I wanted to paint a beautiful Japanese girl in oriental surroundings.
I used photo reference for the building. I looked through the lots of pictures of geisha, but then I decided against painting a traditional geisha, they are too tidy and unnatural, while I wanted my girl to look emotional and passionate.
Any comments are most welcome.
Thanks

I like overall look of it, it has this Japanese atmosphere that i really love. I love the way you made the pattern and your attention to details. If I can only say something - I'd like to see some more texture on the building and maybe some clouds that would add some motion to the image. Anyways - well done :)

Very lovely work! I think that you could maybe soften some harsh shadows on the neck and face, otherwise it's excellent! Very beautiful :)
