I was listening to a lot of Joanna Newsom's songs and saw this image in my head. It was such a lovely child-like scene that I had to draw it. I decided the best way to represent the image, and Joanna Newsom, would be to use muted, yet colourful, watercolours and busy ink lines to show off continuous movement.
