After reading as much information on the Uplift Universe as I could, I decided to create an image that relates to the Uplift War on planet Garth. The two figures are guerilla fighters, a woman and a chimpanzee. This is just a quick sketch. I will eventually create this image in 3D. I don't have much time so I will be working in what I know: Maya and Zbrush. After the challenge I hope to start using XSI for all my personal work.
Nice start! Good luck with the challenge.

This is a quick sculpt I started working on this morning. I will detail it out later tonight and get the body in there as well.

I had been working on a base female body before I knew what I wanted to do. I pushed her boobs up in preparation for putting clothing on her.

Polypainting in Zbrush can radically reduce the amount of time that it takes to create a still. By the way, the image is just a composite of several Zbrush renders, using Zapplink to render the same camera angle for each tool.
