It's not a wip? If it's finished, you should stick it in the finished gallery :) people will still tell you what you could improve and stuff, and as you improve, you can just update your image. i see people do that lots, i think. I like this model, thought the canopy or little shade maker for the chair should have a better texture. And i guess the beast itself could use a texture or something. But I really like the theme, and especially the way the beast is shaped. its hind legs are cool :D I would like to see some texturing and cleaning up being done though, it would really make this complete. If you dont know how to texture, you can really easily find tons of really esy to follow mapping guides online, you'd be surprised with how easy it is :) Oh yeah, and maybe his head should be less like a box at the front. but you may have intended for that shape. If it were me making the model, i would round it a little and make it a little less uniform. Kinda mess up the different sides, you know. Hopefully I'll see an update though, that would be cool :D

That's a pretty cool looking beast.

As for presentation, it would be good if the bottom picture was a close-up?

Thanks for the feed back, I plan on texturing this, I don't know alot about texturing, but i think some bump maps would really help. I also think putting him an a desert environment might help too. I will work with the top canapy.

I like the way you put this "what are you emphisising, the beast or teh shit on top of the beast. i cand really tell. "

you could show some more angles when you present it. right now it's pretty much the same view mirrored.

hey thanks, I just started from a concept sketch.http://www.layerten.com/art/beastdrawing.jpg

then i did the whole body from a box in nendo, just extruding legs and head to get proportions right, from there it was all refining and smooth.

cool, I have gotten that before about this model, your probably right about the chair, he would be a bit more intimidating if he was bigger.:buttrock:
