Title: Captif, dit le Brandebourg
Name: Kevin Hays
Country: USA
Software: Blender, Photoshop

This was based on the statue Captif, dit le Brandebourg, originally created by Martin van den Bogaert. I spent all of March working on this. I used Blender for modeling, sculpting, and rendering. I used an Ivy Generator for the vines in the back, and Photoshop for color adjustments.

That thing screams 'King Lear' to me. Great piece dude! Just the background, could use some more diversity in the grime layers.

Very cool,
The marble shader looks awesome. (blender has really serious potential..i got to learn it)
The eyes area has something odd, a bit too smooth or maybe eyelids are not visible enough.. overrall great job,

I've seen this on BA forums already. cool render, very well modelled and textured :)
you should desaturate green shades at the left a bit, too chemical IMO

Excellent work. Models of statues always amaze me. I love the dusty old feel, and the creeping plant acts as a nice frame to the piece.
