View Full Version : UVW mapping coordinates
Bucket 05-11-2003, 06:33 AM Can c4d r8 manipulate uv coordinates the same way as Maya? I've used c4d r7 in some projects and found that fitting textures to objects to be a bit of a hastle.

how do you mean? if you need to push and pull uv's around, then the way to do that in cinema is with BodyPaint (always has been afaik). though there is currently another uv manipulation tool under construction somewhere for direct use within cinema, though i don't have the link right now... anyone else know what i mean?

Cube3D UVMapper is a plugin for c4d which offers similar UV tools to bodypaint. I think this is what you had in mind, sadie - it is still in beta, but I did not have any problems during the brief play I had with it.
