I'm very new to maya and even newer to nurbs. but I got a bit of a question ... it may be a no brainer but I just can't figure it out. I'm trying to attach to surfaces with attach both of the surface have the same spans and the isoparms on each one are aligned by hand to each other relatively close. My problem is that when I attach the two surfaces it randoml;y adds new isoparms and attaches isoparms that are not next to eachother... usually one isoparm off.. this sucks because it makes my mesh very messy(extra curvy) and a seem becomes very obviious also ruins the detail edges that are suppose to cross the surfaces. (it is a car with beveled panels). Anyway I hope someone can through me a bone...
Thankls for the help

snap those cvs to the coresponding cv of the other patch first. you can also use attach, then rebuild 0-#, then detach at the isoparm .
