CGTalk - mental ray rules

i have just started using mentall rya for maya. i have always just used fake gi or made a scene with standard lights. but now that i have been using reel gi it is sweet. so i was wondering where can i find some good info on mental ray and how to use it. i understand the basic but want to go a little deeper. so if anyone could forard me to a book or website link that owuld be cool. thanks

I agree - Mental Ray is gorgeous. It actually make me forget about the LW renderer. You can find some info and books on mental ray here - http://www.mentalimages.com
