Hello everyone !

I am looking for some tutorial that can teach how to match the brightest part of a CG integrated object to the brightest part in the background and darkest to the darkest.

I will be thankful for any help.

Shake or After effects but any software would do I just need to learn the Basic principle so technique will come automatically in any software.

Basic principle?
Search the darkest point, search the lightest point, apply a levels/curves node or filter and adjust till it matches.

Very software offers different names and ways to do so(that's why my question).
