Personal work. It was fun to give her an evil face. I better clear out beforehand that I didn't have an intention to give political messages or anything like that , so please don't dwell on that. I hope you'll enjoy this.

YOU'VE CREATED A POWERFUL IMAGE HERE, AND EVEN THOUGH YOUR INTENTION WAS NOT TO CONVEY A POLITICAL MESSAGE, I CAN'T HELP BUT TO SEE JUST THAT. I WON'T GET INTO THEM BECAUSE I KNOW THAT THIS IS NOT WHAT CG SOCIETY IS ABOUT, BUT IF YOUR INTERESTED LOOK UP A MAN NAMED JORDAN MAXWELL ON GOOGLE VIDEO OR YOUTUBE. HE HAS SOME VERY INTRESTING RESEARCH. AND I'LL JUST SAY THAT THERE IS A REASON WHY THE STATUE OF "LIBERTY" WAS CALLED THAT INSTEAD OF THE STATUE OF FREEDOM. AND THREE IS REASON WHY IT HAD TO BE BUILT OVER WATER RATHER THAN ON LAND.

ON A ARTISTIC NOTE. THE RAIN AND LIGHTNING IS AN AWESOME TOUCH. IT REALLY CONVEYS THE MOOD EVEN MORE. MY ONLY CRITIQUE IS THAT SHE LOOKS SORT OF LIKE A DUDE, BUT THAT MAY HAVE BEEN INTENTIONAL AND EVEN IF IT WASN'T I SORT OF LIKE THAT FOR A NUMBER OF SYMBOLIC REASONS I WONT GET INTO. lOL :buttrock: 4*S

(sorry, couldn't resist XD)

I guess it's impossible to paint an 'evil Statue of Liberty' without giving the idea of a political message behind it *g*. Whatever, I guess it's up to everyone's personal interpretation :).
So, any political messages aside, I think it's a really strong painting. Great lighting and textures. I think I can even smell the rain :).

lol. well, I think is the most inspired sketch of the statue of liberty I've seen so far. Congrats!

Nice work, I like the vivid facial expression and the thunder storm in BG.
