View Full Version : Maya render headache.

I am really fighting with the renderer in Maya right now.

I have everything setup to the correct Resolution, however, when I do a "Batch Render" Maya cuts the height of my camera by half.

So instead of getting a 720x480 res image I am getting 720x240. If I do a normal single frame render or an IPR render the resolution is correct.

Why is Batch render acting up?

Is the rendered image cutted by half or is it kind of sqatched to half ?

Maybe you should check the PixelAspectRatio if it is set to 1.5 or 0.5 or something.

Oh... I figured it out. I actually have Fields set incorrectly, so it was rendering out 2 files with half the height. I guess if I took the two files and had them merge together it would be the full frame.

Thanks for the help. I have my ratio set to 0.9 for my video out card. To bad my render last night was wasted. :)

I just imagined that the PixAspRat couldnīt cause the error, because it wouldnīt explain, why it looks good in the IPR/Preview - rendering
