i heard myself asking for bone help..and to think i could even make a box a while ago:D

anyways...i made my first character(well..yeah..looks like something that can walk'n'talk..lol) and basically i dunno how to join the bones(although i basically put'em in place) and then i have absolutely no idea on how to attach the bones to the "joints" to be of the character...

envelopes i presume????:shrug:

There should be some tuts in your 3d max manual on skinning a charector. And I'm pretty sure there are tuts on this here very website that deals with this. :)

Put a skin modifier on top of your character mesh/poly and place assign the bones in de skin mod. Then play with the envelopes in de the skin mod. That should get you going a bit!
