Didn't really know where to post these so here goes.

I've been working on a Mech Minder for a week or so and its posted in the Lightwave Galley with all the concept art.

The Mech was going to have a mechanical Dog as a friend but he turned out all serious and I don't need the K9 now. Someone suggested that I post the concept art in case anyone else wanted a go at making him. So, here we are...

Nice work. I love marker renderings and I'm trying to push myself more in that direction also.

The mechanics for the dog are really nice. I especially like the way you have the feet turned in like a bulldog. Gives it a powerful, stout feel to the mech. The only thing I would say is to maybe give the face a more narrow distinguishable look to it. I definitely like the wideset eyes though. Maybe something to give the appearance of a of a more apparent snout or mouth. It's just an idea. Keep up the good work.....

nice work man!:bounce: but your sketches needs more clean-up if u need to 3d it couse i cant see all details clearly:shrug:

Hi Akiman: I didn't do anymore clean up on this one as I don't need the sketch. When I finish a concept sketch for use in 3D modeling it looks like this:

look's like it comes straight from a comic. THere's just one thing bugging me. His front paws are bent to the inside. Doesn't that walk a bit odd?

I like the second robot a lot. The dog's head kinda wierds me out. It's big, like it functions as a cockpit for someone to ride it... I guess if you modeled it that way so that it opens up and you can see the pilot sitting there inside that would be pretty cool.
