hello all. I', new here, and only decided to post out of sheer desperation. I'm just as socially inept online as i am in person.
anyhoo... I'm not a novice with 3d studio max. I've made a few cartoons for school, but i recently ran into a huge block.
Im using 3D studio max R4.2 on a dell laptop. CPU: 1700, RAM: 256 megs. Nvidia Gforce 2 grafics card.
angle deformers. I never had a problem setting up wrists for my cartoon characters (was just a seem between the hand and the forarm) however I ran into some blocks when i decided to make this new character. The main problem is getting the buldge deformers to work.
It seems like they work on the biceps just fine, but when i try and get them to work on the forarm it just doesnt. I select the bone and the verticies that I want, and I add a buldge deformer to them. Then I rotate the bone 90 degrees and edit the latis. When I go to rotate it back, it doesn't transition between the original position and the old, it just stays.
is this making sense?
thank you for your time.
