Im having difficulties with the mixer, everytime i bring in a shape it offsets it - ie. its a head of a character and when i drag the time marker red line thing across the shape, the head immediately jumps back...no clue whats going on....any ideas?? cheers

Mixing is controlled by the weight parameters (shown at the end of the tracks)

If your lost, create a shapetrack containing the haed without any facial expressions.

Create as many tracks, as many expression elements do you have

Set the mixing properties (additivity: summoning or interpolating the shapedeformations)

At every keyframe set and key the shape weights.

(for example:

you have three shapes:
S1 : relaxed face
S2 : opened mouth
S3 : closed eyes

S1 (weight=1) + S2 (weight=1) + S3(weight=1) => a face with opened mouth and closed eyes

S1 (weight=1) + S2 (weight=0.5) + S3(weight=1) => a face with halfly opened mouth and fully closed eyes)

M
