I have a concept in mind of different Earth born species which have evolved or uplifted meeting each other in the future as equals and friends. Here we have diplomats from the species of evolved sentient space jellyfish and ultra humans at their initial encounter.

Nice colors...your cocept remindes me for the "Master Of Orion" game. There was different kind of creatures meeting to make diplomacy or to fight each other. I hop you'll express your idea fully...have fun with the chalenge.

The colours and lighting are really nice, I'm intrigued to see how this develops and what other sci-fi elements you introduce into the composition. Good luck!

This is looking good, wish mine was as advanced, just can't seem to find the time to work on it.
Look forward to seeing you're finished entry :)

I don't really know why, but the energy beings waist seems a bit small (even though there are no legs :)) maybe you could keep the torso proportions human and then fade to tendrils around hipbone area.

just my knee jerk reaction, also your ground plane may be a bit too dynamic in contrast with you characters poses. you could eighter make you characters lines more dramatic (for a dramatic feel) or make your groundplanes a bit more calm (for a serene feel)

good placement of your characters, kind of feel like the wizard character is a bit cut off on the left side.

rock on!

actually looking again you wizards lines are quite dynamic and match your background very well,

the energy being could do with a more dynamic gesture, you might try to tie some of his lines into the composition a bit.

I was mulling over my initial concept and decided to make it more grand and epic in scale. I think I'm going to work this one up. Although I'll probably modify the characters some along the way. That's to be expected I guess as I have no clue how this is going to evolve. :)

Chris and Paul, Thanks for your comments and for viewing my work. I've taken all that you've said into consideration and hopefully will have something more substantial for you to critique soon. Thanks again and I really appreciate your consideration.

Anthony, nice icy pallette going on there pal! For the moment my only comment is to go for a frog perspective, to accentuate the verticallity of the composition. Good work. ;)
