View Full Version : Portrait: Andra Revisited
Doris 05-10-2003, 05:12 PM Hello all :)
This is a black & white portrait done in Painter Classic. The original is a pencil sketch which was semi-finished some time ago.
Feedback is greatly appreciated :)

wow, more beautiful then reality. The only thing that is "strange" is the border of her lips, i think its not enough smooth
but its fabulous

Yeah, the lips: I've actually altered them slightly because I didn't like the way it turned out on the original sketch. But I guess this one turned out somewhat strange, as well
:hmm:

looks nice.
I love the softness of the hair. The eyes are really nice also. looks like u did half the face and mirrored it for the other half. It's too symmetrical. Ears look strange like they are just pasted on. Good job though

Well, no, it's not mirrored :p When I work in Painter Classic I flip the image a lot to make the face as even as possible.
Here's a link to the sketched version (with all its flaws):
