You should use more reference. And donŽt work on the hair until the head is finished. Concentrate on the heads anatomy.
www.fineart.sk .. here youŽll find a lots of good reference.
Also take a look at the topology-thread in the modellingforum.

got that...
in fact i want to build a CG version of Neo (remember the Matrix?),but only can find a front face of Neo, so i use another side face of somebody else.( found on the fineart.sk:) ,then
use the extrude slice method to model it,after i got half of the outline of the head,i began to make nose detail, there must something wrong with there, because i got so many polygons under the nose. i think it's the problem of the topology.
do you have some suggestions? or shall i need to paint a side face of Neo by myself?
as for the hair,it's just a funny play,ignore it,haha.....
just search for images off kanu reeves, because let me tell you a secret: Kanu reeves IS neo

Which app do you use? Sounds like 3dsmax. If IŽm right, be sure to check out the Meshtools. The modelling will be much more comfortable and really helps to speed up your workflow :-)

not 3Dmax,i use lightwave7.5:applause:
it should be much easier to model a head in LW than 3dmax, shouldn't it?
next i'll try to perfect this head, thank for you comments:applause:

Depends on which program you prefer. Being able to use max and lightwave I would find them both equal as they both have their pro's and con's.
