In Vray i was wondering if when you set a object to be unrenderable.. will it still bounce light as normal.
For example.... Say you have a hallway, but to get a nice exciting camera angle you need to remove one of the walls, to archive a wider shot. (like say a movie set that builds a room with only 3 walls)
So you have all the texturing and lighting working as you like... if i set the wall to not be rendered, but leave it unhidden in the scene, will it still bounce and reflect light as if it was still there.. but just not render in the pass?
If not is there a way to achive this?
